Smart Energy Monitoring & Management
Track, understand, and reduce your home's energy consumption with intelligent monitoring and automated energy management.
Track, understand, and reduce your home's energy consumption with intelligent monitoring and automated energy management. Usually added as part of a wider project, so it is priced within your proposal after the survey. Available across London, the South East and the UK.
Take control of your energy bills with real-time consumption monitoring across every circuit in your home. Our smart energy management installations display live usage data on your dashboard, alert you to unusual consumption, and enable automated controls to reduce waste, such as turning off standby devices, shifting high-draw appliances to off-peak hours, and integrating with solar panels or EV chargers for a fully optimised energy ecosystem.
Is this right for you?
This service is a good fit if:
- You have solar panels, a battery or an EV charger and want to see how they perform
- Your bills are high and you want to know which devices are responsible
- You are on a time-of-use tariff and want appliances to run when power is cheaper
What is included
- Real-time consumption by device, room or system
- Historical data that shows trends and highlights energy-hungry devices
- Automations such as motion-based lighting and scheduling to reduce waste
- Solar and other energy sources brought into the same app

How we approach it
Energy monitoring shows where your electricity actually goes: whole-house consumption, individual circuits and, where it makes sense, specific appliances. Once that data is in your smart home system it becomes useful, because automations can act on it.
Typical uses include spotting devices that draw power all night, shifting heavy loads such as dishwashers and EV charging to cheaper tariff windows, and seeing how solar generation and battery storage are performing in the same app as the rest of your home.
We do not promise a percentage saving, because that depends on your property and habits. What we do is show you clearly where energy is being used and automate the changes that are worth making.
What does it cost?
Usually added as part of a wider project, so it is priced within your proposal after the survey. Our Seaham farmhouse project included energy monitoring alongside lighting and heating.

Common questions
Can it work with my solar panels and battery?
In most cases, yes. Many inverters and batteries can be integrated so you see generation, storage and consumption in one place. We confirm compatibility at survey.
Does it need an electrician?
Whole-house and circuit-level monitoring is fitted in or near your consumer unit, so it is installed by qualified engineers as part of the project.
Will it tell me what each appliance costs to run?
It can show consumption per circuit and for appliances with monitored plugs or integrations, which you can view against your tariff.
