How we approach it
Smart lighting is usually where a smart home starts, and where it makes the biggest daily difference. Scenes set the whole room with one press, lights respond to movement and time of day, and outside lighting looks after itself.
Older homes often have no neutral wire at the switch, which rules out many smart switches. We use devices designed for that situation, so every switch can be smart without chasing new cables or redecorating. Where switches change, we keep them matching across the house.
Physical switches always keep working. Smart control adds to the way you already use your home rather than replacing it.
What does it cost?
Lighting-led projects in our case studies range from £5,000 ex. VAT (West Denton) to £15,000 for a period home in Uxbridge that also included alarm, CCTV and gate control. Our £10,000 Durham project replaced an old lighting system and added network, CCTV, heating and AV control. Whole-home lighting forms part of larger projects.

Yes. Our Uxbridge case study is a period home with no neutral wire, now with full smart lighting inside and out and no redecoration needed.
Can I replace an old lighting control system?
Yes. In our Durham project we replaced an old Siemens lighting system with modern devices integrated into one app.
Do the switches still work if the system is offline?
Yes. Switches control their circuits directly, so the lights work normally even if the hub is being serviced.
